ClaritySoft LLC, founded in 2006, is a privately held Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software company headquartered in Dublin, Ohio. Our ClaritySoft Software product suite was created on the belief that Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technology should be better.

 

It all began with OSU football. Our founder, then software sales representative, Steve Schade’s Saturday afternoon football watching was interrupted by an email from his current employers marketing department. They requested that he find all his accounts that had a particular product and invite them to a webinar that was introducing an add-on product.

 

Steve quickly became frustrated as the task at hand required lots of searching, cutting, pasting, and manual sending of many emails. He felt this task should be able to be accomplished quickly and efficiently. It was at that time he decided he was going to develop a product that actually works the way sales people work, is easy to use, and helps them do their job better. He knew a market existed that needed serving, most of his sales peers disliked their current CRM solution as well.

 

His research confirmed his thought that small-mid size businesses, everywhere would compete more effectively with a more usable and less costly CRM solution. He found that most small-mid size organizations lacked the time, resources (IT staff), and budgets to implement the complex solutions that were being offered. Their needs were unique in that they required a CRM solution that can be installed, customized and managed by a business person.

 

Most CRM solutions available today are bloated with functionality to accommodate the requirements of a broad range of potential customers. For many businesses, this additional functionality does not add value, but simply increases the complexity of the software implementation. As a result, installations can be difficult, time consuming and expensive and often end up in failure. Contact management software offers an attractive alternative to CRM software; it’s cost effective, easy to use and provides excellent functionality for small companies; however it lacks important capabilities such as Account Management, Sales Forecasting and Territory management.
